Two members of the DMACC women's track & field team, sophomores Grace Collins of Johnston and Kayden Spencer of Boone, represented the Bears in the 2025 Men's and Women's Track & Field Championships May 15 to 17 at Gowan Stadium in Hutchinson, Kan.
Collins ran in two events, the women's 1500-meter run and the women's 5000-meter run, placing 17th in each event. Her time in the 1500-meter run was 4 minutes, 53.91 seconds and she posted a time of 18:46.90 in the women's 5000-meter run.
Spencer finished 29th in the women's 5000-meter run, turning in a time of 19:48.03.
The meet closed out the 2024-25 season for the DMACC women's track & field team.
