DMACC women's track and field team competes in Cyclone Open
  • Sophomore Abigail Harding finishes 11th in the 800-meter run
  • Sophomore Grace Collins finishes 14th in the mile run
  • DMACC will run in the Iowa State Classic on February 8

 

Five members of the DMACC women's track and field team competed in the Cyclone Open January 24 at Ames.

 

Sophomore Abigail Harding of Iowa Falls led the DMACC contingent with an 11th-place finish in the 800-meter run, crossing the finish line in 2 minutes, 30.91 seconds. Freshman Ava Manning of Des Moines and sophomore Tori Yunggebauer of Williamsburg also ran in the event with Manning finishing 14th and Yunggebauer finishing 16th. Manning's time was 2:39.26 and Yunggebauer posted a time of 2:43.17.

 

DMACC sophomores Grace Collins of Johnston and Kayden Spencer of Boone ran in the mile run. Collins finished 14th in 5:25.91 and Spencer was 18th in 5:30.01.

 

The DMACC women's track and field team will compete in the Iowa State Classic Feb. 8 at Ames.
