Donahue, a sophomore from Marshfield, Wis., is the most recent in a lengthy list of members of DMACC softball teams to earn first- or second-team All-American honors from TUCCI/NFCA. The list dates back to 2013 and contains no less than 20 players.

Donahue was 26-4 in 2024 and helped the Bears to a 47-11 record and their tenth consecutive appearance in the NJCAA Division II Softball World Series. Donahue, who pitched 12 shutouts and several perfect games during the season, led the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) in wins, earned run average and strikeouts. She also led NJCAA Division II in strikeouts and tied for third in wins. Donahue was third in ERA and fifth in batting average against (.115). Her 386 strikeouts was 103 more than any other pitcher in NJCAA Division II.
