DMACC's Kendal Clark named ICCAC Athlete of the Week for Division II Softball

  • Clark's nine hits included two singles, four doubles and three home runs

 

The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has named DMACC's Kendal Clark the ICCAC Athlete of the Week for Division II Softball for the week of March 6 to 12.

 

Clark, a sophomore from Humboldt, is the first member of the DMACC softball team to be honored by the conference this spring.

 

Clark, who earned first team All-American honors in 2022, batted .563 with a 1.999 OPS (slugging percentage and on-base percentage combined) during the week, helping the Bears to a 5-1 record in the Wabash Valley Bash at Evansville, Ind.

 

Clark had nine hits in 16 at-bats during the week. Her hits included two singles, four doubles and three home runs. She also drove in nine runs, received four walks and had one stolen base.

 

Clark is hitting .378 with a.556 on-base percentage and a .757 slugging percentage this season. She has 14 hits in 37 at-bats and her hits include five doubles and three home runs. Clark has driven in 11 runs, scored 14 runs and has stolen two bases.
