The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has named DMACC's Eli Page the ICCAC Athlete of the Week for men's cross country for the week of August 26 to Sept. 1.
Page, a freshman from Vinton, is the first member of the DMACC men's cross country team to be honored this fall.
Page led the Bears to a second-place finish in the Bill Buxton Invitational Aug. 30 at Indianola, placing fifth overall with a time of 19 minutes, 59 seconds over the 6K course. DMACC placed three runners in the top 10 and all seven runners finished 18th or better as the Bears scored 43 points and finished ten points behind Simpson College's winning total of 33 points.
The DMACC men's cross country team will run in the Trent Smith Invitational Sept. 13 at Mason City.
