DMACC men's cross country team competes in Les Duke Invitational
  • Freshman Michael Lord leads DMACC with a 45th-place finish
  • Freshman Devon Keuning places 80th
  • Bears will run in the Grand View Invitational on Sept. 24

 

Four members of the DMACC men's cross country team competed in the Les Duke Invitational Sept. 10 at Grinnell.

 

The Bears did not enter enough runners to compete for the team championship. Wartburg College (WC) won the title with 39 points and Aaron Davidson of Cornell College (CC) took individual honors with a time of 25 minutes, 36 seconds on the 8K course.

 

DMACC's top runner was freshman Michael Lord of Des Moines. He finished in 45th place with a time of 27:32. Freshman Devon Keuning of Ankeny was 80th in 29:29 and sophomore Brooklyn Pierce of Urbandale and freshman Rochard Tingue of Haiti were 111th and 117th respectively. Pierce's time was 31:26 and Tingue posted a time of 32:01.

 

The DMACC men's cross country team will run in the Grand View Invitational Sept. 24 at Ankeny.
