Sophomore Caleb Ham of Hudson and freshman Luke Linde of Winterset birdied the third hole of a sudden-death playoff against Iowa Central Community College (ICCC) enabling the DMACC men's golf team to win the Quad Cup Oct. 11 at Cedar Point Golf Couse in Boone.
The Bears opened the tournament with a 3-1 win over North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and went against ICCC after the Tritons defeated Iowa Lakes Community College (ILCC) in the other first-round match.
The DMACC teams of Ham and sophomore Layden Losh of Boone and Linde and freshman Ryan Schmierer of North Liberty won matches for the Bears against ICCC and Ham and Linde represented DMACC in the playoff.
The tournament closed out the fall season for the DMACC men's golf team.
