The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has named DMACC's Drew Teeter the ICCAC Athlete of the Week for Division II Men's Golf for the week of May 6 to 12.

Teeter, a freshman from Albert Lea, Minn., is one of two members of the DMACC men's golf team to be honored by the conference this spring. Kaleb Allen, a sophomore from West Burlington, earned the honor the week of April 1 to 7.

Teeter capped the regular season with a tie for second place in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Central District Regional Championship May 6 and 7 at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo. Teeter led the tournament after the first 36 holes, posting a three-under-par 141 over the par 72 layout. He turned in a two-over-par 74 on his final 18 holes for a 54-hole total of 215, one under par.

The ICCAC also named Teeter the All-Region Player of the Year earlier this week and he was named to the All-Region First Team.

The DMACC men's golf team will play in the 2024 NJCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship May 21 to 24 at Twin Hills Golf & Country Club in Joplin, Mo.
