DMACC's Kaleb Allen named ICCAC Athlete of the Week

Allen took medalist honors in the Black Hawk Spring Invite
Allen's one-under-par 71 led the Bears to the team championship
Allen has helped DMACC to two team championships this spring

The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has named DMACC's Kaleb Allen the ICCAC Athlete of the Week for Division II Men's Golf for the Week of April 1 to 7.

Allen, a sophomore from West Burlington, is the first member of the DMACC men's golf team to be honored by the ICCAC this spring.

Allen took medalist honors with a one-under-par 71 in the Black Hawk Spring Invite April 5 at Pinnacle Country Club in Milan, Ill., leading the Bears to the team championship.

Allen's good play continued April 8 when he posted a two-over-par 74 to help DMACC to the team championship in the North Central District Preview at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo. His score gave him a tie for fifth place in the individual competition.

The DMACC men's golf team will play in the ICCC Spring Invite April 12 and 13 at Fort Dodge Country Club in Fort Dodge.
