Taylor Tucker enters his third season as an assistant coach at Des Moines Area Community College.

Tucker previously served as an assistant for two seasons at Northern State University under head coach Saul Phillips. While at Northern, Tucker was part of back-to-back NSIC championships. During the 2021 season, Northern State entered the Division 2 national tournament with an overall #2 ranking before falling to the eventual national champions in the sweet sixteen.

Before his time at Northern State, Tucker served as an assistant coach at Monmouth College in Illinois under head coach Todd Skrivseth. While at Monmouth College, the Scots won the conference championship during the 2017-2018 season.

He is a 2016 graduate of Olivet Nazarene University with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Tucker played collegiately at ONU, making two NAIA National Tournament appearances. The Tigers won the 2015 regular season and tournament conference championships during his junior year.

Tucker is a Tyler, Texas native; he currently resides in Boone with his wife Maddie.
