The Bears trailed 17-5 five minutes into the contest before a 24-3 run gave them a 29-20 lead six and a half minutes before intermission. McGee ignited the run with jump shot and capped it with another jumper.

Leading 29-20, DMACC put together a 20-5 run to close the half with a 49-27 lead. ICCC got as close as 57-46 with 13 minutes, 37 seconds left in the second half but got no closer as the Bears put the game out of reach in the final 10 minutes of the half.
