The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has named DMACC’s Halle Hagberg to the 2025 NJCAA Division II Women’ Golf All-American Team.

 

Hagberg, a sophomore from Polk City, was named to the third team. She was the only member of the DMACC women’s golf team to be honored by the NJCAA.

 

Hagberg led the Bears to a tie for seventh place in the 2025 NJCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship May 13 to 16 at Cedar Point Golf Course in Boone.

 

Hagberg tied for 16th place in the individual competition. She shot rounds of 79, 81, 81 and 89 over the par 72 layout for a 72-hole score of 329, tying Meghan DeLong of North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and Sawyer Hobbs of Shelton State Community College (SSCC) for 16th place.

 

SSCC took the team championship with a 72-hole score of 1275 strokes. Kamryn Johnston of Mott Community College (MCC) and Ivanna Becerra-Diaz of Iowa Central Community College (ICCC) shared medalist honors with 72-hole scores of 309.
