The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has named DMACC's Spencer Clatt the ICCAC Athlete of the Week for Division II Men's Golf for the week of September 25 to October 1.

Clatt, a sophomore from Gilbert, is honored by the ICCAC for the first time this season and he is the only member of the DMACC men's golf team to have earned the honor this season.

Clatt set a new school record with a 6-under-par 66 in leading the Bears to team championship in the NIACC Invite Sept. 26 at Highland Park Golf Course in Mason City. Clatt's score erased the former school record of 68 strokes by Braxton Risetter. His score and a 67 by sophomore Kaleb Allen of West Burlington helped the Bears to a new team school record with a 13-under-par 275. The previous school mark was 283 strokes at the NIACC Invitational in 2020.

The DMACC men's golf team will play in the Red Tail Shootout Oct. 6 at Fox Ridge Golf Course in Dike.
