DMACC MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM RUNS AT TRENT SMITH INVITATIONAL IN MASON CITY

The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) men's cross country team ran in the Trent Smith Invitational Cross Country meet in Mason City on Friday, October 9.

North Iowa Area Community College won the Trent Smith Invitational with 20 team points followed by Iowa Central Community College with 58 team points. Since DMACC only had three runners competing and the top five runners' positions count for team standings, DMACC did not qualify for the team scores.

DMACC's Preston Rogers, a freshman from Winterset, finished in 41st place running the 8K course in 31:46.50.  DMACC's Cameron Campbell of Ames took 50th place in a time of 32:35.10.  Cole Bennet of Ogden captured 54th place with a 33:32.32 time.
