Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) freshman Noah Hartman has received honorable mention recognition on the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Men's Golf All-American Team.
Hartman, a freshman from Slater, was the only member of the DMACC men's golf team to be honored.
Hartman led the Bears to an 11th-place finish in the 2019 NJCAA Division II Championship May 21 to 24 at Swan Lake Golf Resort in Plymouth, Ind. DMACC completed the 72-hole tournament with 1,246 strokes after posting rounds of 313, 318, 314 and 301 strokes during tournament play.
Hartman tied for 21st place in the individual competition, shooting rounds of 79, 74, 77 and 73 on the par-72 layout for a 15-over-par 303.
The tournament closed out the 2019 spring season for the DMACC men's golf team.
