Davidson Leads DMACC Men's Golf Team to Second in Southeastern Invitational

Sophomore Parker Davidson of Pleasant Hill took medalist honors with a two-under-par 70 as the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) men's golf team finished second to William Penn University (WPU) in the Southeastern Invitational September 18 at Burlington.

 

WPU won the team championship with 293 stroke over the Spirit Hollow Golf Course and DMACC was second at 295.

 

Other DMACC results included a 74 by sophomore Avery Fuhs of Webster City, a 75 by sophomore Alec Fuhs of Webster City and a 76 by sophomore Robert Flattery of Fort Dodge. Freshman Louie Psihoyos of Dubuque also played for DMACC and turned in a score of 81.

 

DMACC sophomore Dalton Huseman of Boone and freshmen Dylan Sheffler of Sac City and Drew Fielder of Webster City competed in the individual portion of the tournament. Sheffler shot a 76, Fielder posted an 82 and Huseman shot an 84.

 

The DMACC men's golf team will play in the Waldorf Invitational Oct. 1 at Forest City.
