Thirty-Six DMACC Athletes Earn Academic All-Region Honors for Fall Semester

Thirty-Six Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) athletes have earned National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region academic honors for the fall semester. Twenty-five of the 36 athletes were named to the academic first team as follows:

 

MEN'S BASKETBALL

Freshman Andrew Madison, Grand Rapids, Mich.; freshman DeShawn Davidson, Waukegan, Ill.; freshman Devonta Prince, Brooklyn Center, Minn.; freshman Hamza Gocobija, Chicago, Ill.; freshman Louis Psihoyos, Dubuque.

 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Freshman Ashley Kallas, Milwaukee, Wis.; sophomore Beth Atwood, Packwood; freshman Allie Horn, Newton; freshman Emma Rouse, Boone; freshman Grace Stalzer, Zearing; sophomore Joniqua Clark, Cedar Rapids; sophomore Molly Mitchell, Okoboji; sophomore Regan Shockley, Hartley.
